Customer broke down and called RAC out to recover and left a report for cam sensor fault, I was called out as car would not start giving symptoms of flat battery. Soon discovered engine had locked solid, stripped engine down to discover that the timing chain guide has broke off and gone into engine and pistons have hit valves and spark plugs resulting in holes in the pistons and damage shown in pictures...New engine required! Another engine sourced and fitted with new timing chain clutch and a service and it was back on the road 👌
